Indian incense sticks
Indian incense sticks are known for their intense, often sweet and intoxicating scents that quickly fill a room. The basic ingredients of Indian incense sticks are a bamboo stick, a paste (usually made of wood dust, natural rubber or resinous binders and powder of ground fragrant ingredients and/or essential oils, and often also perfumes). The most popular scents in India are: agarwood, sandalwood (Chandan), jasmine (Mogra), champa masala (combination of sandalwood and champa or frangipani), rose (gulab) and saffron.
