Copper bottles (tamba) and pots have been used in India for over 2000 years. According to Ayurvedic tradition, drinking water from a copper pot should balance all three Ayurvedic doshas or energies (vata, pitta, kapha) in our body.
• The copper bottle is only intended for storing water, so do not pour milk into it , citrus juice or other acidic liquids.
Cleaning and maintenance:
Do not wash the copper bottle in the dishwasher. Wash it with a mild detergent, a soft sponge and room temperature water. For a better shine, gently polish it with the inside of a lemon peel or a special polishing paste - this only applies to the outside of the bottle! Do not expose it to direct sunlight.
Due to the natural process of oxidation, the color of copper changes over time and/or becomes leafy. These are natural processes that have no negative impact on drinking bottled water.
