What did Manila dig?

Copal usually refers to the aromatic resin obtained from the dried sap of the Copal tree, Protium copal, which is native to Mexico and Central America. However, this is only one of a large group of Copal resins found in many tropical and subtropical areas of the world. The light Copal (Agathis dammara) is from Manila, Philippines.
