Geological and mineral | Labradorite is a type of plagioclase that is one of the most common minerals on Earth. Its name comes from the Labrador Peninsula in Canada, where it was first discovered. Labradorite has a hardness of between 6 and 6.5 on the Mohs hardness scale, which means that it is a fairly hard material. Labodarite commonly exhibits a beautiful play of color known as labradorescence. This phenomenon is caused by internal irregularities in the structure of the stone, which scatter light in different colors, from blue, green, purple to gold. Color shades may change depending on movement and viewing angle |

Stone cleaning | Read about the different ways to clean stones on our blog entry and choose the method that suits you best. Important: Do not use chemicals or detergents for cleaning. Do not leave the stone in salt water for too long, as this can damage the stone. After cleaning, fill the stone with positive energy. You can do this by holding it in your hands and imagining that it is surrounded by white light. |
